• for the citizen of the Republic of Moldova – a valid Moldovan identity document (passport for traveling abroad or the identity card with the accompanying card (in the case of the new type card, the accompanying card is not required)).
• for the foreign citizen – valid identity document (passport or new model identity card, as the case may be).

the request for the criminal record, which he presents to the Embassy HERE

• any foreign citizen can request a criminal record issued by the Republic of Moldova.
• the criminal record can be issued in German, Romanian or English, upon request.
• for requesting the criminal record, the presence of the applicant in whose name the document will be issued is mandatory.
• the record is issued by the embassy after checking the information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova
• the criminal record issued by the consulate does not require legalization and can be presented in the Austrian citizenship acquisition file, being accepted in this procedure.
• the criminal record is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance, without the possibility of extending this term.
• when submitting the application, the payment of fees can be made in 2 ways: cash at the bank or post office OR by bank transfer with printing of the proof of transfer.
